Fall Quarter has been full of productions! And I have been . . . very productive! These are still images from my first production shoot, "Haku Lei," a instructional video project I wrote, directed, styled, and starred in! Phew! My talented friend and owner of Pistils & Stamen, Susanna Luck, helped me select a beautiful variety of flowers and foliage to craft my lei. I used several lei, in different stages, for my shoot.
I learned how to make haku lei from my mom. Her eye for beauty and attention to detail shaped (and continues to shape) how I see the world. The knack for synergizing assorted elements into something beautifully and harmoniously whole is a family trait. Mahalo for everything, Mom (a.k.a., my Executive Producer).
